About

Xingyu Yang received his B.S. from the University of Science and Technology in China in June 2012 and then entered the doctoral program at Georgia Tech. From September 2012 to May 2014, he worked with Dr. Soojin Yi’s research group focusing on DNA methylation in honeybees. Currently, he works with Dr.Peng Qiu’s research group and on the application of machine-learning methods in the automated analysis of flow cytometry data. His current research at Georgia Tech comes from “Identifying the Cellular Hierarchy and Drug Response of Acute Myeloid Leukemia” project funded by the National Institutes of Health.
